Scientist/Senior Scientist

Protabit seeks a protein scientist who has previous experience in the field of computational protein design. The position involves contributing to the development of new protein design software and applying this software to design proteins with novel or optimized properties.

Requirements:

• Ph.D. in chemistry, biochemistry, or a related field
• Experience in the field of computational protein design with at least 2 years of practical experience in an academic, pharmaceutical, or biotechnology setting.
• Highly motivated with strong problem solving skills.
• Is capable of working independently and in a collaborative setting.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Preferred:

• Experimental biochemistry experience a plus.
• Experience in coding C++ and Python a plus.

 

Developer/Senior Developer

Protabit is seeking programmers proficient in coding C++ and Python. This position involves developing software for protein design as a part of a code development team.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in coding C++ and Python
• Strong knowledge of object oriented design and software development best practices.
• B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. in computer science, software engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Highly motivated with strong problem solving skills.
• Is capable of working independently and in a collaborative setting.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Preferred:

• Course work in chemistry and biology is desired.
• Experience in computational chemistry/biology or scientific software development is a plus.
